Based on the mid-level XV Crosstrek 2.0i Premium, the Special Edition adds several upgrades, including Subaru’s Starlink infotainment system with 7-inch touch screen display, power moonroof, push-button start and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift lever.
The 2015 XV Crosstrek Special Edition won’t be easy to miss on the road thanks to its standard Sunrise Yellow paint. Like all other XV Crosstrek models, the Special Edition comes with contrasting black molding on its rockers and wheel arches.
In addition to its bright paint, the XV Crosstrek Special Edition also boasts exterior upgrades like body color foldable mirrors and blacked-out headlight bezels.
Power for the Special Edition is provided by a 148-horsepower version of Subaru’s 2.0L boxer-four. A Continuously Variable Transmission and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive are also part of the package.
The 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Special Edition will land later this year with a starting price of $25,290, not including a mandatory $850 destination charge.
