Following the introduction of its 2016 Accord sedan last month, Honda has unveiled its revised 2016 Accord coupe. The new 2016 Accord lineup is expected to land in Honda showrooms over the next few weeks.
The Accord coupe receives many of the same design cues that grace the sedan, including a new front fascia with available LED fog lights and new-look headlights. The rear of the Accord coupe has been updated with new LED taillights.
Like its sedan counterpart, Honda says the Accord coupe will benefit from a revised chassis that offers better rigidity. Other chassis upgrades include revised power steering and updated dampers. Those changes should translate into a better driving feel.
Inside the 2016 Accord coupe will see a major bump in the technology department thanks to a newly available 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system capable of running Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other tech enhancements include Honda Sensing technologies like Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Mitigation.
Powertrains carryover unchanged. That means buyers get a standard 2.4L four-cylinder rated at 185 horsepower or an optional 3.5L V6 that makes 278 horsepower. Depending on the model, buyers can select between a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or CVT.
The 2016 Honda Accord coupe is slated to go on sale later this month.
