Buyers of the A3 sedan will have two 4G service packages to choose from – a 5GB/6-month plan that lists for $99 and a $499 plan that is good for 30 months and 30GB of data.
“Having the choice of two data plans gives the consumer the opportunity to choose a contract that works best for their lifestyle and allows them to maintain connectivity in the vehicle for an extended period of time,” said Scott Keogh, President, Audi of America. “The new AT&T data plans with 4G LTE connectivity will allow Audi drivers to enjoy seamless navigation, streaming and high-speed access to the Internet.”
Although a seemingly large gap between the two plans, Audi says it learned through its previous 3G+ system that owners prefer 6- and 30-month terms. All A3 sedans equipped with Audi connect will come with a complimentary 6-month trial.
Audi’s 4G connectivity will launch later this month in the A3 sedan, but the automaker says it will quickly roll out the service to other vehicles in its lineup.
