Pricing for the McLaren 650S Coupe will start from $265,500. Opting for the open-roof 650S Spider will require at least $280,225.
Although a hefty price tag for sure, the 650S does offer a lot of performance for the money. Powered by a 641 horsepower, 500 lb-ft of torque version of McLaren’s twin-turbocharged 3.8L V8, the 650S can rocket from 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds and cover the quarter mile in a lightning quick 10.5 seconds. The 650S has a claimed top speed of 207mph.
The 650S is more than just a powerful engine, though. The supercar comes packed with loads of standard features, including carbon ceramic brakes, navigation, satellite radio, streaming audio, power-adjustable steering column and a rear-view camera.
“Driving excitement is at the absolute heart of the McLaren 650S,” said Mike Flewitt, Chief Executive Officer, McLaren Automotive. “Of course the performance figures are important, and they help boost excitement. But they’re only part of the story. This is a car that’s about feel as well as measurement.”
Both the 650S Coupe and Spider are available for order now at McLaren’s 15 retail locations across North America.
