Toyota unveils refreshed 2015 Toyota Sienna

July 17, 2014

Toyota has revealed the 2015 Sienna minivan, which benefits from a handful of minor revisions for the latest model year.

Outside, (very) careful observers will notice a subtly tweaked grille in addition to newly available LED running lights. Bigger changes take place in the cabin, where an updated center stack locates the optional seven-inch Entune infotainment system higher up and closer to the driver’s line of sight than before. The system is newly accompanied by capacitive touch buttons, and revised climate control knobs have taken up residence below.

Another new option is found in the instrument panel, which is home to an extra-cost 4.2-inch color multi-information screen capable of displaying turn-by-turn directions.

Parents will appreciate the introduction of Toyota’s Driver Easy Speak microphone system – it lets the driver and front passenger be heard over the din of rowdy youngsters. To better keep tabs on the denizens of the rear rows, a newly optional pull-down mirror allows the driver to look back without turning around.

Rounding out the changes is the addition of an optional black leather interior with white contrast stitching, along with a newly standard panoramic rearview camera.

Power continues to come from a 266-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that shifts through a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard, and all-wheel-drive is also available.

The 2015 Toyota Sienna will arrive in showrooms later this year; pricing has not yet been announced.
