SEMA LIVE: Chrysler’s Mopar-tuned lineup

November 5, 2014
Chrysler has reserved more than 15,000 square feet of floor space in the Las Vegas Convention Center to show off its full Mopar collection at this year’s SEMA show.
The company is mostly focusing on available production add-ons, but a handful of models feature prototype modifications that have yet to arrive on the market.

Several Jeep models are making a second appearance after their initial unveiling at the annual enthusiast gathering in Moab. Prototypes include the Wrangler MOJO, outfitted with 37-inch mudding tires, and a similarly modified Cherokee Dakar.

Attendees can catch a glimpse of a Fiat 500L Custom outfitted with prototype wheels and a front splitter, alongside a 500 Abarth Scorpion.

Chrysler will also be highlighting its latest 2015 Dodge offerings, namely the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and its four-door cousin, the Charger SRT Hellcat, which is claimed to be the most powerful production sedan in the world. A new Dodge Viper ACR also makes an appearance, stripped for club racing.

The production 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack will also make its public debut at the show. The build features a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, delivered to 20-inch rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
