Nissan has released the first video in a series of “Truckumentary” segments detailing the development story behind the next-generation Titan.
The first teaser provides a few shots of the redesigned pickup, with the front-end clad in camouflage. Otherwise, it focuses on reinforcing the Titan engineering team as a bunch of “truck guys” that are well-suited to the job.

The company has previously detailed the Cummins diesel engine that will be available in the new pickup. The powerplant will take advantage of sequential turbochargers to help improve performance at high and low rpm, with output expected to reach 300 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.
Aside from the new engine choice, Nissan has succeeded in keeping the wraps on additional details. Rumors suggest a V6 will power an entry-level model, while the available body styles and trim options will be expanded.
Nissan is expected to debut the new Titan at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in January. Additional teaser videos are scheduled to run in December.
