Mazda has unveiled a new concept version of its latest MX-5 showing off a new range of aftermarket parts that will be available for the drop top sports car.
Based on the 2016 MX-5, the accessories concept sports number of unique design cues, including an Aero Kit borrowed from the MX-5 Global Cup Car that debuted at SEMA, lightweight Brembo brakes, BBS alloy wheels and a luggage rack made of carbon fiber. Mazda says the high-tech luggage rack weighs less than two-pounds thanks to its carbon fiber construction.

The Mazda Miata has a long history with the Chicago auto show. The roadster was first introduced at the Chicago show in 1989.

The 2016 Mazda MX-5 will hit the market later this year.
