The tuner added a twin-screw supercharger to Ford’s revised 5.0-liter V8 Coyote engine, bringing output up from 435 horsepower and to 730 ponies and 600 lb-ft of torque — slightly higher than Galpin Auto Sports’ heavily-modified ‘Rocket’ build.
Engineers have also revamped the suspension with new springs, shocks, swaybars and bushings, while massive 15-inch brake rotors and multi-piston brakes help slow the car down in a hurry.
The unique bodykit has been designed with lift-over-drag (L/D) in mind, requiring an extra inch and a half in the front and two inches in the rear to help increase downforce. Many of the swapped components have been crafted from carbon fiber to lighten overall vehicle weight.
“This car pushes the boundaries of proportion, both functionally and aesthetically, while transforming the signature American pony car look into a new class of American Exotic,” said design director Sean Smith.
The 2015 S302 Black Label will sell for $73,214.
