General Motors has previewed the Chevrolet Camaro 50th Anniversary Edition, celebrating 50 years since the pony car was first introduced.
The package is clad in Nightfall Gray Metallic paint with a distinctive orange and black stripe running across the hood and trunk. The exterior is based on the RS appearance package, with a body-colored front splitter and unique satin-insert grille to distinguish the anniversary model from standard builds.
Designers created special 20-inch wheels, complete with 50th Anniversary center caps. Orange brake calipers and a few more ‘Fifty’ badges help further reinforce the styling.
The interior has been outfitted with special leather upholstery, including suede inserts and orange accent stitching. Distinct 50th Anniversary badging can be found on the instrument panel, seat backs, steering wheel and illuminated sill plates.
Buyers will be able to choose from both Coupe and Convertible variants in 2LT and 2SS trim. Additional details should be confirmed ahead of the Camaro’s September 26 anniversary date.
