Aston Martin has announced plans to enter the Mexican market. Although a global brand with dealerships across the world, Aston Martin has never had a retail presence in Mexico.
The British automaker announced this week that it will open its first Mexican showroom in the up-scale Polanco area of northwest Mexico City. The location is scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2014.
Aston Martin Mexico City will boast a 4,500 square foot showroom capable of showcasing six Aston Martin vehicles. The dealership will also feature a customer reception area and a service center.
“In the continued development of our retail network across the Americas, we have carefully considered the right locations and appropriate partners to support our growth plans,” Julian Jenkins, Regional Director, Aston Martin The Americas, said. “Consequently I am delighted that in this new appointment we have found the fitting partners who share our passion for the Aston Martin brand and are well placed to help us grow our presence in the emerging Mexican market.”
Aston Martin Mexico City will bring the automaker’s dealer count to 41 across the Americas.
