Audi releases full pricing, options details for 2015 A3

January 17, 2014

Audi has published complete pricing and options information for its new entry-luxury small sedan, the Mercedes-Benz CLA250-fighting 2015 Audi A3.

Last year, the four-ring brand announced that the entry-level 2015 A3 Premium will start from $30,795 (including destination) – squeezing just below the CLA250′s $30,825 MSRP. The A3′s price includes a 170 horsepower 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, six-speed dual clutch automatic (ignore the Europe-only stick shift pictured above), leather upholstery, a sunroof, xenon headlights and LED tallights.

Now, Audi has detailed the 2015 A3′s upper-level trims and all options packages. The A3 Premium will offer a $500 cold weather package, a $450 aluminum trim package, and a navigation/MMI infotainment touchscreen bundle for $1,900.

The next rung up the trim level ladder is the A3 Premium Plus, which commands $33,695. It adds 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and the aluminum trim package. Stepping up to the Premium Plus also allows buyers to chose from more extras, including the $1,400 Driver Assistance Package with rearview camera and park assist, the $850 Bang & Olufsen sound system, and the $750 Convenience Package with heated, power-adjustable front seats and park assist.

Of note, the navigation system is bundled with Audi Connect on the Premium Plus, bringing its price up to $2900.

Finally, the high-end A3 Prestige, priced from $39,595, nets sporty S line exterior cues, navigation, Audi Connect, Bang & Olufsen audio and full LED headlights as well as the Convenience and Driver Assistance Packages.

The A3 prestige can be further upgraded with the $1,400 Advanced Technology Package – it adds adaptive cruise control and active lane assist – and the Sport Package, a $550 option that includes sports seats, a unique steering wheel and selectable drive modes.

Buyers looking for more power and improved traction can opt for a 220-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, which comes with Quattro all-wheel-drive and increases the bottom line by $3,000. It can be paired with any trim level.

Pricing for the 2015 A3 TDI, A3 Cabriolet and S3 sedan will be announced at a later date.
